Reformation Study - The Protestant Reformation began exactly 500 years ago, so we are beginning a 4-week study on the events and ideas that changed the Western world completely and are still felt today. We meet Mondays at the church from 6-7PM, beginning October 16th. There is a $3 charge for study materials.
Bible Study - Join us at 4pm at the Lockharts’ house as we study our way through the Bible. This is an ongoing program, and we are presently looking at the book of Jeremiah. All are welcome. Call Pastor Pam for more information.
Ham & Bean Suppers - Our famous Ham & Bean Suppers are held the third Saturday of the month, September-November and January-June, from 5pm-6:45pm. (No supper in December!) Come and enjoy a home-cooked meal that includes sliced ham, kidney and pea beans, brown bread, rolls, potato salad, coleslaw, and for June, strawberry shortcake or brownie and ice cream. Your choice of coffee, tea or milk. Price is $10 for adults and $4 for children 6 and over. Children under 6 years are free. Check the calendar for the date of the next supper.
Soup Luncheon - We host a free soup luncheon the first Thursday of the month, October through June, at 12 noon in our lower level church vestry. There are 2-3 different kinds of soup, bread and crackers, and yummy desserts. Please join us for a nice meal and friendly conversation! You’re welcome to make a donation of canned goods to our food pantry if you wish.
Prayer Shawl - We gather as a group to knit and crochet shawls and lap robes for people in need of comfort, for healing, and for celebration. Meetings are held the second Monday each month, September through June, and are open to any who would like to join us. Bring your own yarn and pattern or use our traditional prayer shawl directions and choose from our yarn collection. We start at 7pm with a prayer and end at 8pm with a closing prayer.
Nottingham Brass - The Brass will join us once again on the First Sunday in Advent, December 3rd, as part of our regular 10AM Sunday morning worship service. Please join us for this annual treat as we welcome the beginning of the season.
