Rev. Cheryl Stromski welcomed as new Pastor

We are excited to announce that, after a reception to meet the candidate and attending a worship service lead by the Rev. Cheryl Stromski, KCC members voted October 29th to call her to be our settled part-time Pastor. Rev. Sherry will begin serving with us October 31st.

Rev. Stromski is currently serving as the part-time settled pastor at the Newfields Community Church, and will serve KCC in addition to Newfields. She received her M. Div. (Master of Divinity) from ANTS (Andover Newton Theological School) in 2018.  At graduation she was awarded the coveted Jonathan Edwards Award, given by the faculty in recognition of academic excellence and promising new leadership. In addition to her Master’s Degree, she also received certificates in Pastoral Care and Interfaith Work. Outside of ministry, Rev. Sherry is a pianist, works in the fields of Restorative Justice, Reentry and Immigration, and Interfaith Dialogue.

Rev. Stromski will be leading our 11:30am Sunday worship services, and will also be available to contact through the church office at kcc1737@yahoo.com. Her office hours are yet to be determined.
